EXTRAORDINARY TEACHING

WHEN WE INVEST IN OUTSTANDING TEACHING, we not only ensure the best education, we recruit and develop the best faculty. By making innovation central to this commitment, we do more than position EA as a singular leader in education. We enable the school to respond to opportunities, and we acknowledge the hard work of teachers to keep current with advances in education and to keep pace with the wider world—students’ ultimate destination.

Since 2017, our Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) has been a unique hub of professional development, support, and collaboration for all three academic divisions. Its programs focus on best practices, one-on-one coaching sessions, teacher orientation, and more—reflecting our faculty’s excellence and our community’s culture of continuous improvement.

Shape Tomorrow invites you to deepen these investments in teaching and make CTL a self-sustaining, growing enterprise, aimed at promoting the best possible student experiences inside and outside the classroom.

EA’s Center for Teaching and Learning is the greatest gift an educator could have. They help me hone my skills and inspire students in any setting.

EXPAND OUR HUB OF FACULTY EXCELLENCE

Through an evolving constellation of resources, EA’s Center for Teaching and Learning has become the go-to resource for our faculty. It spurs professional development, promotes peer-to-peer collaboration, and flexes to meet the real-time, evolving needs of our teachers. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, the CTL nimbly shifted its focus to help our faculty adjust their lessons and approach to fit a virtual learning environment. Your investment in Shape Tomorrow will empower the CTL to expand its programming and support, ultimately benefiting both our teachers and students.
